Plot summary
A rockabilly band called Los Guys plays loud music in the streets of France and takes payment to stop. Counting their take at a restaurant, two of the band meet a gypsy storyteller, who tells them of the Corsican Brothers. Her tale begins with twins born to one mother and two aristocratic fathers. Their mother flees at the sight of them, and both fathers die in a duel over her infidelity, leaving the boys orphans. They grow up sharing an odd bond: each feels the pain and pleasure of the other. As adults the brothers reunite, Luís having worked low-end jobs in Mexico and Lucien seething at the royal treatment of French peasants, above all the regent Fuckaire, who seized power after the king vanished.
