Plot summary
Pop star Charli XCX is quarantined at home during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. She sets out to make her fourth studio album, how i'm feeling now, in 40 days. She asks her online fan community to help her produce it, and the project becomes semi-collaborative as she stays in contact with those fans. The lockdown also brings mental health issues to the surface, and she works on rekindling her relationship with her boyfriend.
