Plot summary
A brutal attack kills the brother of Special Operative James Webster, who has just come home from duty himself. His brother had served and returned home as well. Webster goes after the men who did it, and the hunt pulls him into a hidden world of murder and corruption. What he finds at the center of it is a conspiracy reaching deep inside the United States government. A military assassin is chasing him as he investigates. High-ranking officials sit behind the plot, and Webster has to bring them out into the open before he becomes one more victim of it.
