Plot summary
Carmen Brown is an aspiring actress in Philadelphia who causes trouble wherever she goes. A fight with a jealous woman at Lou's Bar brings her to the attention of Lieutenant Frank Miller, who orders Sergeant Derek Hill to take her to jail. Hill is engaged to Caela, a cocktail waitress. On the way, Carmen tries her charms on him, but he is set on the arrest. She asks to stop at her apartment first, so that her mother's ring can be locked away before it goes to jail with her. Inside, she puts on lingerie, and Hill changes his mind.
