Calm with Horses (2019) on Netflix

Plot summary

Douglas "Arm" Armstrong, a retired boxer, serves as the enforcer for the Devers family in rural Ireland. Ursula, his estranged partner, is raising their autistic five-year-old son Jack, has enrolled him in a special needs school in Cork, and has asked Arm to help pay the tuition. Arm visits them and has trouble coping with Jack's outbursts, while Ursula brings Jack to a local farm for therapeutic horseback riding sessions and is dating Rob, the therapist there. Fannigan, a Devers associate, had drunkenly tried to get under the sheets of the bed of Dympna's fourteen-year-old sister Charlie. The family business is run by Dympna's uncles, Paudi and Hector. Hector gives Dympna and Arm one chance to kill Fannigan themselves, and Paudi threatens Jack's life if Arm does not follow through.
