Plot summary
A documentary crew travels to an old country manor to film the legend of Herne the Hunter, the hooded and horned figure said to haunt Herongate Woods. Ralph goes back to those woods with the crew, forty years after a camping trip there ended in the death of one of the three teenagers, to relive the episode for their cameras. Caroline, another of that group, has just died in circumstances nobody can explain, leaving Ralph the only survivor. As filming goes on, crew members are killed one after another, and those left alive try to work out what the forest spirit wants.
