Plot summary
Silvio is sixteen and attends a high school in Rome, where he is more interested in girls than politics. He and his friend and classmate Ponzi are caught up in the anxieties of love and sex. When the school faces privatization, the students meet and the most radical among them push for an occupation, which they carry out. Silvio wants to make his move on a girl he likes, who is already the girlfriend of his friend Martino. At home, he clashes with his parents, Sixties radicals who dismiss the students' political commitment as aimless.
