Plot summary
Sam Jenson runs a coffee shop that his grandfather Walter retired from, and the shop keeps its reputation for matching customers, often within thirty cups. Sam himself remains single, never having gotten over a broken heart. Allie Morgan works in sales and wants to be a reporter; her editor, Addison Rickford, gives her an article series on the coffee shop as the chance to prove her value. She and Sam do not get along at first. He matches her friend Mia Bard with their colleague Eric Stauffer, while Sam's service deputy Tyler has a complicated love life and relies on advice from Emily.
