Plot summary
Stan Deen is an English and drama teacher at a high school in New Holland, Pennsylvania, in the 1980s, and the story comes from true events. One of his students, Nate, sleeps in his car and is arrested. Stan pays his bail and gives him a place to stay so that he can finish high school. As the two grow closer, Stan works to uncover the dark secrets in Nate's past.
