Plot summary
Broddick, a multi-millionaire casino owner, has an 80-foot reticulated python shipped from South America to serve as the quarry for a big-game hunt he plans to bring to the mega-wealthy. The snake breaks out of its convoy and kills the men transporting it. FBI Agent Alan Sharpe examines the wreckage, finds a large scale, and enlists herpetologist Dr. Steven Emmett and marine biologist Monica Bonds. They fit Monica's tracking system to Dr. Emmett's Betty, a 70-foot genetically enhanced boa, hoping the boa will seek out and kill the python. FBI agents and soldiers join them as they move Betty into a water treatment facility.
