Blueberry Hill (1989) on Netflix

Plot summary

In Antwerp in the fifties, Robin De Hert comes of age in a Catholic parochial environment. On one hand there are his own authoritarian father at home and the secretary at the Catholic boys technical school, who is sadistic. On the other hand there are the Grieten and the French teacher, with whom Robin gets along well through a secret the two share. The boys of the school have spent their time on more pleasurable pursuits instead of preparing for their final exams. Should the secretary learn of that secret, it would carry major implications for the teacher and for the students alike.
