Cloaca (2003) on Netflix

Plot summary

Pieter has worked twenty years as a municipal archivist, ignored by his colleagues, and on each birthday he has taken a painting from the cellar depot as revenge. A meal with Brest, his boss's boss, brings the news that the eight Van Goppels must be given back now that they have become valuable. Four of them are gone, sold to pay for Pieter's apartment. His old student friend Tom, once a lawyer and now a drug addict, wants to handle the matter. Joep, a politician in line for a cabinet post, has been thrown out of his home by his wife Conny over an affair and is staying at Pieter's place. Stage director Maarten is rehearsing a play with Joep's nearly 18-year-old daughter in it, and he has slept with her without telling Joep.
