Blowing Wild (1953) on Netflix

Plot summary

Jeff Dawson and Dutch Peterson, wildcatters in an unnamed South American country, put their savings into an oil lease until bandit raids dynamite their derrick and leave them stranded without money. Jeff takes a hazardous job hauling nitroglycerin for eight hundred dollars over Dutch's objections, and road thieves ambush the pair, wounding Dutch in the leg. Collecting the fee becomes a brawl with a man named Jackson, who claims he cannot pay. Jeff then runs into his former partner Paco Conway, now a wealthy oil man, who is married to Marina Conway, the woman Jeff once loved. Paco offers Jeff work drilling a new well.
