Plot summary
An urban legend in Locust Point, a neighborhood in the Bronx, blames a string of gruesome murders on a vicious raccoon. The animal is hooked on crack and goes by the name Red Eye. Peter Rabbit, the deputy mayor, is a politically ambitious man, and he sees the hunt for the creature as a way to push his career forward. He asks his cousin and his best friend to join him in the attempt to capture it. Two more of the creatures, just as bloodthirsty, are also loose in the neighborhood.
