Plot summary
Betty Scott, Johnny Randall, Jeanne Perry and Pete Garwood are two couples vacationing at sea. When their ship's captain passes out drunk, the four decide to visit a nearby jungle island. He wakes and warns them not to go. While they explore, Johnny falls into a pit. As the others pull him out, Dr. Albert Balleau and two servants appear. That evening, in his house, Balleau says he came to the island after the war to hunt. The couples ask to leave, but Balleau answers that wild animals roam the jungle.
