Plot summary
An energy field from outer space lands in rural Texas and infects the farmers, who become white-faced, bloodthirsty killers. Local authorities look into the violence. Jeff Rhodes, a photographer, and his girlfriend Julie are trapped in the middle of it. The residents need to get out before General Sanders persuades the President to hit the rural town with a nuclear bomb.
