Plot summary
A young girl is found murdered in a small town, and the case falls to two brothers, Joe Fairburn and Chrissie Fairburn, who are detectives on the local force, with their supervisor Robert Seymour working the inquiry beside them. Jason Buliegh, a man with a sex offense on his record whom the town has cast out, becomes the prime suspect, and officers bring him in for questioning. Joe and Chrissie are the sons of a former police chief. When the police have to let Jason go, the brothers decide to handle the matter themselves and force a confession from him.
