Plot summary
For centuries Wakanda has hidden its vibranium-powered technology from the world, posing as an underdeveloped African nation. After the death of his father, King T'Chaka, T'Challa comes home to be crowned and to take up the powers of the Black Panther, the mantle his father held. His mother Ramonda, his sister Shuri, the warrior Okoye and his former love Nakia gather for the ceremony, where the Jabari leader M'Baku claims the crown and fights him for it. Beyond the borders, the arms dealer Ulysses Klaue, who knows what Wakanda really is, steals a Wakandan artifact from a London museum, and T'Challa's friend W'Kabi wants it recovered.
