Plot summary
Nolan Wright walks away from a car crash with no memory of his life, and his wife is killed in the wreck. He now raises ten-year-old Ava by himself, and the girl, who is mature for her age, helps him with cooking, school pickups and the excuses he needs in public. Three warnings arrive from Ava's teacher, and a photography contract at his job falls through. His friend Dr. Gary Yeboah talks the decision over with him, and Nolan agrees to an experimental treatment with Dr. Brooks, a neurologist, who uses hypnosis to look through his mind.
