Plot summary
Pee-wee Herman grows vegetables on his farm, hopes to become a famous singer, and works alongside his assistant, a talking pig called Vance. Each day he shares lunch with his fiancée, Winnie Johnson, the town schoolteacher, and he runs plant experiments inside a protected greenhouse. At Mr. Ryan's general store, the local people put up with his odd manner. The sheriff comes in to warn that a large storm is on the way, so Pee-wee races home and gets his animals into shelter. Once the weather passes, he steps outside and finds a whole traveling circus sitting in his yard, tents and all. He makes friends with the ringmaster, Mace Montana, and falls for Gina Piccolapupula, the troupe's trapeze star.
