Plot summary
Cricket Green is tired of the family road trip being the same every year. At BigTech, where the Greens deliver produce to Gwendolyn Zapp, he hears about her farm on an asteroid and the space hotel she has built, a place open only to rich guests such as Remy and his family. Zapp's farm bots are badly programmed, so she needs help. Bill refuses her offer; Cricket makes his own bargain, offering the family's work on the asteroid for a hotel stay, then talks his father and the rest into the trip by saying it is a simulator.

- The producers had to change the film's climax after a test projection with executives, who felt it was not working properly.
