Plot summary
In Grandview, a scientist spots an asteroid heading for Earth and a UFO flying alongside it; the UFO crashes. Years earlier, Farmer Jim raised Daffy Duck and Porky Pig, and he left them his house when he died, asking them to learn responsibility by relying on each other. Now an inspector, Mrs. Grecht, finds a giant hole in the roof and the house faces condemnation. The pair needs money for repairs, but Daffy's antics get them fired from one job after another. Petunia Pig, a scientist at the Goodie Gum factory searching for the perfect flavor, offers them work, and they take it.
