Plot summary
HairCo, a hair company run by Wallace Eastman, sends a helicopter after the scientist Dr. Harrison, who dives into a river and gets away. Twelve years pass. Dr. Harrison's son, Adam Harrison, is a thirteen-year-old in Portland who is picked on at school. His hearing and eyesight become unusually sharp, and his hair and feet start growing fast. A box that his mother Shelly hid shows him that his father is still alive and where to look. Adam slips away and finds Bigfoot, his father, who has stayed in the forest to keep the family out of Eastman's reach; Eastman wants to test his DNA.
