Plot summary
Damian Wayne, Bruce's son, fights as Robin and cannot accept his father's rule against killing. Anton Schott, the Dollmaker, has been abducting children in Gotham and turning them into his dolls; Bruce frees them. When Damian faces Anton alone, a figure in an owl costume appears and urges him to kill, then leaves a feather behind. Bruce comes across Anton's body and tightens security at Wayne Manor, barring Damian from going out as Robin. Tracking the feather, Bruce is ambushed by owl-masked assassins in a museum and rescued by Dick Grayson. The Court of Owls offers Bruce a place among them, and Damian meets the assassin who calls himself Talon.
