Plot summary
Iris Lark was estranged from her father, Owen Lark, who owned the Queen's Head, a rundown pub in Berlin. When he dies, Iris travels to the city to identify his body and meet The Solicitor about the estate, and she learns the pub is now hers. Neil, who wants to reach his dead wife, Sarah, offers her €4,000 to meet Baghead, the entity living in the pub's basement, which lets the living communicate with the dead and can transform into the dead. Baghead comes out of a hole in the wall when she is called. By signing the deed, Iris becomes tied to her, and as the owner she can command her.
