When Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian come for the Time Stone, Stark and Peter Parker follow their ship off the planet. Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame were shot on ARRI Alexa IMAX cameras, making Infinity War the first Hollywood feature ever filmed entirely with IMAX digital cameras.
- Because Carrie Coon was pregnant during filming, she mainly did facial capture for Proxima Midnight with some motion-capture, while stuntwoman Monique Ganderton stood in and provided the rest on set.
- Chadwick Boseman and the other actors from Black Panther playing Wakandans improvised their war chants on set ahead of the battle in Wakanda. The Russos were not aware of the chants, as they had not yet seen footage from Black Panther.
- Comedian David Cross was invited to reprise Tobias Fünke from Arrested Development (a show the Russo brothers had directed) as a cameo, but a scheduling conflict meant an uncredited extra played the character instead, appearing only as a specimen in the Collector's collection.
- YouTube personality Tony "Nem" Mitchell set a world record by watching the film 103 times in theaters; when his streak drew media attention around his 44th viewing, IMAX gave him 50 free tickets and the Russo brothers invited him to the Endgame premiere.
SPOILER
Tom Hiddleston knew about Loki's death in Infinity War before production began on Thor: Ragnarok, after meeting the Russos in May 2016, and that knowledge influenced his portrayal in Ragnarok.
