Plot summary
James Brody works as a security guard on an armored truck in Mississippi, and his son Casey rides with him on runs that move millions of dollars between banks. One summer day the two break the rules and add a shipment of parcels from a credit union. Seven armed thieves led by Rook stop the truck, and after a chase it overturns on a bridge. Rook wants the gold in that shipment in exchange for a ride to the hospital, and James refuses.

- Crew members disputed the directorial credit Routt received for the film, alleging Randall Emmett coordinated several production elements while remaining unlisted on call sheets; props assistant Michael Castro said Routt pretended to direct a scene and called it make-believe.
- Filming took place in Pearlington and Waveland, Mississippi, in September 2023 while the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike was on, and the filmmakers were granted interim agreements to make the film.
