Plot summary
Jeff Nichols lives on Manhattan's Upper East Side and is approaching thirty. He drinks heavily, and ADHD, dyslexia and a mild form of Tourette syndrome are part of his life. He sits through support meetings much of the week, including groups unrelated to his own troubles. Steady work has not lasted, his car keeps collecting tickets, and his parents, Cynthia and Mike, find that their simplest instructions leave him distracted. At one meeting he meets Lynn, who urges him to get his life together.
