Plot summary
A sheriff opens an inquiry into her husband's death. The trail she follows takes her onto the dark web, to a corner of it where a crowd that has found one another online watches killings put on for its amusement. The serial killer who performs those killings works to satisfy what that crowd demands. A couple is imprisoned by him.
