Plot summary
Zoe and Patrick are police officers in a small rural community, and their shift opens like any other. Then strange events begin. Residents start behaving erratically, and a suicidal panic spreads among the people the two officers are trying to protect. Zoe and Patrick come to see that alien machines are behind what is happening, and those machines are closing the community off from the outside world, leaving a small group of survivors with no way to reach help from beyond it. Zoe and Patrick band together with the survivors who remain to save the township and everyone beyond it.
