Plot summary
Ali G looks back on the success of Da Ali G Show and on the years after its cancellation, when he moved back to Staines, tried without success to find work and took part in rap battles with local schoolchildren. His girlfriend Julie is eight months pregnant, and while pawning items to raise money he finds a fax in which HBO offers $3.2 million for a third series. He and Julie travel to America for it. Word of his return reaches Nira Cain-N'Degeocello, an ethnomusicology lecturer who objects to what he calls Ali's racism and cultural appropriation. Nira puts his case to an Oakland community center, where the attendees respond with indifference and mockery, and then confronts Ali in a livestream.
