Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran is an English singer-songwriter from Framlingham, Suffolk. He started writing songs as a boy, self-released the EP No.5 Collaborations Project in early 2011, and signed with Asylum Records that same year. His debut album, Plus (2011), reached number one in the UK and contained the breakthrough hit The A Team. Multiply (2014) took the Brit prize for best British album, and its single Thinking Out Loud took two Grammy Awards, one of them Song of the Year. Divide (2017) was the world's best-selling album that year, and the IFPI named him its Global Recording Artist of the Year. No.6 Collaborations Project arrived in 2019, Equals in 2021, and Subtract in 2023; each reached number one in most major markets. He has sold 200 million records, is an alumnus of the National Youth Theatre, and appeared as himself in Yesterday (2019); his Wembley Stadium shows were captured in Jumpers for Goalposts: Live at Wembley Stadium (2015).
