Plot summary
A woman wakes in a house she does not know, in a bed beside a man she does not recognize, and she fights him off. He calms her and tells her that her name is Ellie, that a car accident took her memory, and that her doctor has said it can return in time. Bruce says they moved to an isolated home to help her recover. A young girl, Alice, tells Ellie that she is her daughter. Before she woke in the house, she lay injured in the road beside a wrecked car, and the seizures have not stopped. Ellie tries to put her memory back together and to grow close to Bruce and Alice.
