The Room (2019) on Netflix

Plot summary

Matt and Kate buy a house in Upstate New York and move in. While renovating, they find a large hidden room, and Matt learns that whatever they wish for inside it appears. Money and possessions come easily, and both of them quit their jobs. Kate, who has had two miscarriages, finds that the wished-for things mean little to her. Matt suggests trying for a baby, which angers her. The electricity in the house occasionally surges, making the lights flicker. The house also has a history: a murder took place on the property decades earlier, and the killer, known as John Doe, is still alive in a psychiatric hospital.
