Plot summary
A blackmail case reaches a private detective's office while the detective himself, Judd Blake, is away, and his assistant Bob West decides to take it on. Bob is a novice with no experience of the work, and the client, Laura Sutton, is a woman being blackmailed. He sets out after the man responsible. The blackmailer's demands have Bob sleeping with the pretty women he meets.
