Plot summary
Six years after killing Trife, Sam Peel comes out of prison into London. At Trife's grave he is attacked by Trife's cousin Jehvon, who wants revenge and warns him that others mean to kill him before the day is out. Sam breaks into his empty family home and bandages his wound. He visits Claire to ask about his mother; she has not seen her in more than a year and tells him Moony is at university. Claire's boyfriend Hayden arrives and attacks Sam on realizing who he is. Moony warns him to be careful of Jay and says Sam inspired his own law studies. Sam then finds Lexi, hoping she has information.
