Femi Oyeniran

Femi Oyeniran is an actor and director. Born in Nigeria, he began his screen career as Moony in Kidulthood (2006) and returned in the sequel Adulthood (2008). He is best known for those roles and for Bookie in Anuvahood. His first directing foray was Fresh Off The Boat, nominated in Film London's Best of Boroughs awards in 2009. He made his feature debut with It's A Lot, released in theaters in 2013. In 2016 he released The Intent, which he helped write, direct and produce with Nicky Slimting Walker; it later appeared on Netflix. The prequel The Intent 2: The Come Up opened at number one in several UK cinemas and was named Best UK Movie at the Mvisa awards and three awards at the National Film Awards. His television appearances include Absolutely Fabulous, Golden Hour and The Ghost Squad, and his theater debut came at the Hackney Empire in Basic. He produces and hosts the podcast Cut the Chat.
