Two Americans stuck in Cairo, Bud and Lou, overhear Dr. Gustav Zoomer describe Klaris, the mummy who guards Princess Ara's tomb, and the medallion that reveals where her treasure rests. Semu leads a group devoted to Klaris, and both he and Madame Rontru, a businesswoman chasing the treasure, listen in. Bud and Lou go to the doctor's house seeking work transporting the mummy to America, but two of Semu's men kill him and take the mummy, leaving the medallion behind.
