Plot summary
Sea Shepherd activists sail to the Faroe Islands to demand an end to the Grind, the hunt in which pilot whales are killed on the beaches each year. Lamya and Antoine are among the campaigners, and for them the practice is gratuitous cruelty in a nation that no longer needs it. Jens and Torik are whalers who wait for a pod to be sighted, and they argue that the meat is divided equally among the community and cannot be exported because it is considered too polluted. The two sides have already clashed over the hunt, and the whalers know the tradition will not last forever.
