Plot summary
Gwen blames Cyrus, an underworld boss, for the death of her boyfriend Aster. She regains consciousness in a roadside diner with a pistol in her bag and no memory of how she got there, then flees when police confront her. A key she is carrying matches a hotel room she cannot recall, where she finds a dead body. A man arrives and threatens to kill her, but Ty kills him and says the two of them had plans to kill Cyrus at the diner. Gwen does not remember Ty or the plan, denies that she would kill anyone, and agrees to leave with him.
