Plot summary
Nick Davis delivers pizzas in Grand Rapids, where he rarely meets his boss's thirty-minute promise. His friend Chet, a school teacher, has ended their friendship after learning that Nick slept with his twin sister Kate. Dwayne Mikowlski and Travis Cord live with Dwayne's father, Jerry "The Major," who won more than $10 million in the lottery about ten years earlier. The two friends plot to kidnap a stranger and force him to rob a bank for them. They order a pizza, and when Nick arrives they knock him out and fit him with a vest of explosives and a timer. He has ten hours to bring them $100,000, and he asks Chet for help.
