Plot summary
Deborah Voorhees, an actress from the Friday the 13th films, is murdered by a fan while her young granddaughter Kelsie watches. Years later, actresses from that franchise are dying in ways that copy the deaths they filmed, and the killer is still hunting his favorite cast members and scream queens. Dee Wallace, Kelsie's grandmother's best friend, is among the targets, and Kelsie steps in when Dee is attacked. That puts Kelsie in the path of an obsessed fan who treats the movies' characters as the actors who played them and emulates his idol Jason Voorhees, still unable to tell the films from real life.
