Plot summary
Nick Malloy works as an emergency medical technician, and a vigilante tied to his past has taken his wife Sarah. Sarah is held by the caller, who reaches Nick by phone and draws him into a game called 12 Rounds, sending him from one place to the next while her life rests on how he plays. Detectives McKenzie and Sykes are looking into an explosion involving an ambulance. Sykes puts the blame on Nick, while McKenzie has doubts about that. Nick does not know why he was chosen as the pawn in the game, and he has little time to find out.
