Plot summary
High school student Tyler Hanson is in love with his girlfriend, Alison Hewitt, who goes by Ali. At a party he learns that she once partied hard and slept around, and the two break up. Outside, Tyler meets Holly, and the pair spend the weekend together at her large house, where she tells him her father has died and her stepmother travels often. The next day Tyler and Ali get back together, and at school he comes across Holly, who says she has enrolled there to surprise him. Tyler tries again and again to cut ties with her and cannot. Holly also befriends Ali and their friends, Gil and Lydia.
