You Are So Beautiful (2005) on Netflix

Plot summary

Aymé Pigrenet works a farm in the Drôme, and when his wife dies in an accident at home, the daily chores fall on him. He had little affection for her, but she kept the house and the fields in order, and he admits he cannot manage alone. Marriageable women are scarce in his village, so he registers with a marriage agency. Its manager, understanding that he wants a worker rather than a companion, points him toward Romania, where young women are desperate to leave their poverty behind. Aymé travels there and comes home with Elena, a young Romanian woman he introduces to his family as a distant relative of his late wife, in France for a stay on the farm.
