Arrested in New York for beating eleven policemen, a girl called K is offered a way out by the Japanese inspector Kazutoshi Kira: her mother will not be deported if K works for the reactivated Sukeban Deka program. K accepts, takes the name Saki Asamiya and receives a hi-tech steel yo-yo, then infiltrates Seisen Academy, an elite high school suspected of hosting a website called Enola Gay that rallies young suicide bombers. Another operative was sent into the school before her, and a seventy-two hour countdown has appeared on the site.
