Plot summary
Morgan Hunnicut runs a multinational industrial group, and he wants a trademark for it. A giant creature lies frozen in a block of ice on the coast of Newfoundland, and he asks Professor Wassermann to take charge of an expedition that will study it. What Hunnicut actually intends for the prehistoric animal stays hidden from the professor. Cliff Chandler comes along as the company's representative, and Hunnicut's grandchildren, Jane and her little brother Herbie, are on the trip as well. Herbie is the one who came across the creature. The children's mother and father were killed when their plane crashed; Herbie was aboard and lived through it, and he has not spoken since.
