Plot summary
José and Antonio hold up a pawn shop in Madrid, and José's young son Sergio comes along on the robbery, which Antonio resents. The men take a taxi and have its driver, Manuel, drive north with the aim of reaching France, while the boy's mother Silvia, José's ex, follows them with two police investigators on her trail. Night brings the group to Zugarramurdi, in Navarre, a village where Graciana leads a coven of witches preparing an ancient ritual that calls for a sacrifice.
