Plot summary
Harold keeps his wife Betty and their daughters Maggie and Sarah on a farm miles from civilization, with no phone. He hands the family an unknown liquid and tells them it is poison, then says it was a test of faith before a suicide pact he intends for them all. The next day three strangers, Fisher, Randy and Luke, arrive asking for help with a flat tire. Harold invites them to stay, throws away their beer and objects to their language. At dinner Fisher mentions moving from Chicago to California, and Randy slips off to search Harold's room. Harold becomes suspicious and calls the family to look for him.
