Plot summary

When a tornado hits, Melissa, her brother Bobby and their parents take shelter in the bathroom. A tree falls through the house and blocks the only door, so the four of them remain trapped inside. Days pass with no rescue. Robert, the father, struggles with alcohol, and without a drink he becomes irate. Tensions build among the family as they wait for help. Outside, they see a snake.
